Your day tour starts with hotel pickup and the drive to your first stop, Batu Caves. When you arrive, climb up the 272 steps to the temple of Lord Murugan (aka Subramnya), a Hindu deity who is honored each year during Thaipusam. Then enjoy a delicious lunch before the into the rainforest. Visit the Forest Waterfalls where, after a short hike, you are greeted with seven tiers of cascading water reaching heights of almost 400 feet (120 meters). Take a refreshing dip in the cool waters before heading off to Kuala Selangor Nature Park. At the park, witness the social silver leafed monkeys play in the lush forests of the jungle. This park also boasts a massive colony of fireflies which you can observe at dusk when they're the most active. Watch the jungle come alive and learn about these unique bugs. Your day tour ends with return to Kuala Lumpur for hotel drop-off.

ITINERARY
0700hrs Depart for Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara, enroute FREE BATU CAVES TOUR
# BATU CAVES is a limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb into the Cave will take you to the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam aka Lord Murugan. He is honoured during the Hndu Festival of THAIPUSAM in January or February every year. His 140 feet Statue is mesmerising.
(Decent attire is Mandatory for Ladies to enter the Temple proper).

1100hrs On arrival at Kuala Tahan, activities begin...

% Aborigine Village (Orang Asli) are of the Bateek tribe who have been living environment-friendly lives. The Rainforest is their Supermarket where they get their life's necessities. They have things secret and things taboo. You will get an insight of their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques.
