Summary

On Day 1, board your climate-controlled coach in central Athens and, after seeing the Corinth Canal, venture into the Peloponnese to visit the ancient ruins of Mycenae and Epidaurus, including the latter’s well-preserved theater. After a night’s stay in Nauplia or Olympia (depending on tour dates), Day 2 brings a tour of Olympia, where the ancient Olympics were held, followed by a journey north for an overnight Delphi stay. On Day 3, enjoy a guided tour of mountainside ancient Delphi and a visit to the Delphi Archaeological Museum before traveling through central Greece to Meteora. After an overnight hotel stay in Kalambaka, spend the morning of Day 4 touring two of Meteora’s extraordinary rocktop monasteries with a guide before returning to the Athens’ starting point where your experience ends. Your tour includes guided tours at each site, 4-star hotel accommodation for three nights, plus free time for lunch (own expense) each day and each evening to enjoy as you wish. Three dinners, three breakfasts, and comfortable coach travel, including pickup and drop-off from selected Athens hotels, are all part of the package.
