Jonkers' street is a nite market during holidays. Port Dickson fondly known as PD by locals is the nearest beach front to Kuala Lumpur. The carbon and tin mines attracted migrant workers. Many locals visit the beach during weekends to enjoy the water sports and the beach. Port Dickson is home of migratory birds and a bird watching spot. ^ Bonus tour of Iconic Batu Caves - an outcrop of limestone. Climb 272 steps into the cave temple of Hindu Deity who is honored during the Hindu festival of "Thaipusam". ITINERARY
0700hrs Depart for Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara, enroute FREE BATU CAVES TOUR
# BATU CAVES is a limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb into the Cave will take you to the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam aka Lord Murugan. He is honoured during the Hndu Festival of THAIPUSAM in January or February every year. His 140 feet Statue is mesmerising.
(Decent attire is Mandatory for Ladies to enter the Temple proper).
1100hrs On arrival at Kuala Tahan, activities begin...
% Canopy Walkway - 530 meters in length is the longest in South East Asia and you will get a Bird's Eye View of the World's Oldest Rainfoest. View a screaming scenery of Nature at its unspoilt best..
% Jungle Trekking to the Teresek Hills.

% You may be Lucky if you get to see Monkeys, Bids, Monitor Lizards...

% Rapids Shooting is a thrill as the Boatman negotiates 7 sets of Rapids and you get a "chance" to get wet. Bring along changing clothes, insect repellants.
% Aborigine Village (Orang Asli) are of the Bateek tribe who have been living environment-friendly lives. The Rainforest is their Supermarket where they get their life's necessities. They have things secret and things taboo. You will get an insight of their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques.
