3-Hour Belgian Pastry making class with tastings in Brussels

Summary

We will start our visit at the Grand'Place of Brussels with a brief historical explaination. Then we will have our first chocolate tasting at Galler Chocolates, specialized in dark chocolate and the latest new flavours like orange, pepper, earl grey. Macarons are famous in France, but in Belgium we make them too. You can choose between a wide range of flavours : from rose to caramel. Time to have our first beer at Image of our Lady : a real cherry beer, called Kriek. A bar down the end of a small alley, away from the tourist crowds and as local as it could be. The real cherry beer is based upon a lambic beer, only brewed in Brussels and no where else in the world. From there we head to our activity location at rue de Chartreux where we will teach you how to make your own pastries. Together we will make a selection of the finest pastries of Brussels. We will eat them along with one of the finest dark Trappist beers / Rochefort 10; alaso called the chocolate beer. Before we go to Mokafe for the Brussels'waffle with stawberries, cream and a beer we will explain the oldest section of Brussels, the lost river Zenne and the olfd city gates. We will conclude with the champagne truffle
