3-Day Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Tour

Day 1: Arrival Airport Pick up depends on your flight and you will be transferred to your own prearranged hotel. Day 2: (B) After the breakfast, head to zhangjiajie national forest park. After about 40 minutes drive, you will reach to the so-called "Ecological Forest Oxygen Bar", this place is famous of its fresh air. Stop by a little bit and you will take the cable car to yellow stone village, which is about 1200 meters in altitude. The village is characterized by the overhanging cliffs, high staking platforms, jagged rocks and elegant apexes. After lunch, walk along the "China's most beautiful stream" - Golden Whip stream (total length of 7.5 km, about 2.5 hours by walking ), Golden Whip Stream is a beautiful natural formed stream, named of Golden Whip Rock. The water is very clear and you are even able to see the fish swimming around. Day 3: (B) After the breakfast, it's time to visit the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, you will see the famous "Hallelujah Mountain", which is the floating mountain showed in the Hollywood movie "Avatar". After lunch, you will take the shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain about 40 minutes. It is named after the farmer Xiang Dakun of the Tujia ethnic group, who led a successful local farmers' revolt and called himself "tianzi". Tianzi has the meaning of "son of Heaven" and is the traditional epithet of the Chinese emperor. After this stop, you will take the cable car and reach to the Ten-mile Natural Gallery Scenic Area. At the end, you will be transferred back to Zhangjiajie city, either at your own prearranged hotel, airport or train station to end your tour.
