3-Day Iceland Adventure Tour

I researched a lot before booking our tour with Troll and, whenever I had a doubt, I sent an email. I was promptly answered, with quick, clear, and very polite responses. This gave me a lot of confidence to book the trip. 🇮🇸✨ We decided to do the 3-day excursion with Troll, in a group of 6 friends, and our experience was wonderful! To our surprise, even the weather cooperated: we had sun for three days, no rain, and we managed to enjoy everything! ☀️🥹 The van is comfortable, has good space for luggage in the trunk, and that made us very relaxed throughout the entire journey. Our guide and driver was Sindri, always very attentive, polite, and careful while driving. It was great traveling with him! Accommodation On both nights we stayed in different hotels and had a great experience in both. Comfortable rooms, great beds, clean linens and towels, and spacious bathrooms. On the first night, the hotel had a pizzeria next door, where we were very well received. Coincidentally, there was a karaoke night happening and it was super fun! 🎤🍕 On the second night we stayed at Gerði Guesthouse, which also had a restaurant in the hotel itself, with spectacular dishes. And I have to talk about breakfast! 😍 At both hotels we had wonderful buffets, with artisanal breads, sweets, cakes, jams, cheeses, juices, coffee, tea, eggs, and many other options. Everything prepared with a lot of care. We feel really well received. ✨ 1st day We visited: 📍 Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park 📍 Brúarfoss Waterfall 📍 Geysir Geothermal Area 📍 Gullfoss Waterfall 📍 Seljalandsfoss Waterfall 📍 Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach Our lunch break was in the Geysir region, where there was a restaurant and a cafe. At night, we stayed in the Hrífunes region, at the hotel next to the pizzeria. ✨ 2nd day We visited: 📍 The city and beach of Vík 📍 Katla Ice Cave — we went in a Super Jeep and had the incredible experience of entering an ice cave 🧊 📍 Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon — we visited the glaciers and took the boat tour 📍 Diamond Beach 🩵 Our guide on the Katla Ice Cave experience was João, who was also very attentive. Lunch was at a convenience store in Vík, which had a cafe, restaurant, and market. At night, we stayed at Gerði Guesthouse. ✨ 3rd day 📍 We did the hike/climb on the glacier, with the guide Paula, who was extremely attentive and careful. It was an unforgettable experience! 🧊🥹 📍 We visited the location where scenes from Interstellar and The Northman were filmed. 📍 Skógafoss Waterfall On that day, we stopped to have lunch at a roadside restaurant that also had a small market, with several food options. Around 8:30 PM, our guide dropped us off in Reykjavik again, ending our 3-day tour. And a concern I had before the trip: food. Since I am vegetarian, I was quite worried about what I would be able to eat during the three-day excursion. But it was a pleasant surprise! Everywhere we found great vegetarian options and I managed to eat really well throughout the trip. ❤️ 💚 My experience with Troll was really wonderful and I thought it was cool to share all these details, because before traveling I also researched a lot and I know that this kind of account helps a lot for those planning a trip to Iceland. An important note: the guide may change the route according to the weather and safety conditions of the day. Therefore, the script may not happen in exactly the same order presented in the package. In our case, we managed to do everything that was planned! 🙏🏻✨ It was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend Troll! 🇮🇸💚

Did the 4 day summer tour with golden circle, ice caves and glacier hike. It was split into a 3 day tour and 1 day Snaefellsnes. Siggi, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He is the best guide ever! He brought the group together, was fun, courteous and full of energy with a wonderful playlist. My Iceland experience was amazing mainly due to siggi.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the 3-day, 2-night Chinese tour booked on the official website. Especially the guide Andy, who is excellent—polite, high EQ, and very experienced. He explained the scenery along the way the entire time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. It is an honor to meet such a good guide. Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up.

I choose different companies next time, no quality and details with this company and related ones too. Very disappointed that there was no specific pick up location was assigned and I was told to go nearest bus stop and waited for 40 mins and they were at different bus stop. They don’t communicate well ahead of time and they texted and called after I left hotel. I use wifi only and don’t have phone service during my travel. And I found out wifi service in the bus end of second day with 3 days trip. No communication. And one hotel was awful and receptionist yelled at me because they do favor of warming up food and I requested twice. This ruined my trip. I was disappointed from start. Ben was guide. I don’t know this is Icelandic hospitality or not. Go to different tour companies who treat you with hospitality nor for better reviews.
