2hr Midnight Sun ATV Adventure from Reykjavik

Choose to ride solo on a quad or with a passenger when you book. Then, on the day, start your midnight sun adventure with a mid-evening pickup from your Reykjavik hotel. Travel to the quad base and, after a safety briefing from an expert instructor-guide, don your supplied helmet and gloves and hop aboard your vehicle. Get instructions on using the controls, and when you’re ready, set off in convoy behind your guide. Soak up the ethereal light of the midnight sun as you rumble along asphalt roads, gravel trails and rocky paths — there’s a wide variety of terrain to tackle and keep your adrenaline racing. Then, as the sun sinks closer to the horizon, climb up the two peaks of Hafrafell and Úlfarsfell, and drink in the unforgettable views down over Reykjavik and the craggy Reykjanes Pensinula, beautifully silhouetted against the sky. As midnight approaches, watch entranced as the sun sets and then rises again within the space of a few minutes — it’s an incredible experience. Keep your camera ready to capture the phenomenon: as the sun dances on the horizon, the sun illuminates the sky in a stunning blaze of orange and gold. Afterward, ride back down the mountainsides and tackle more challenging terrain, splashing through rivers and following unmade trails on your way back to base. Your quad bike experience then concludes with a drop-off back at your Reykjavik hotel.
