Rinjani trekking route via Aik Berik was officially opened by Central Lombok governemnt on November 2018 as one of official trekking route that offers different angle to approach Rinjani, with 2 famous waterfalls in Central Lombok on the same route: Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel waterfall. Trek through rainforest, pineforest, savannah, dense forest with plent of water source (river) and waterfall. The route leads to second summit Puncak Kondo (Top of Kondo, 3200 m.a.s.l), crater rim and Segara Anak lake. Each destinantion takes from 2 day 1 night to 4 day 3 nights to complete depend on your destinantion, all destinantions offer stunning view of sunset and sunrise, peak of Mt. Rinjani, Segara Anak lake, Mt. Agung in Bali and view of Lombok and Sumbawa island. Please note, this track offers no opportunities for a climb up to summit of Rinjani.
