Climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity. On arrival at Belum Jetty have lunch. Check in at resort. Canoeing to look out for horn bills, monkeys. Return to resort, Freshen up, dinner watch documentary on Belum. Day 02 Rainforest Belum - Kuala Lumpur 8.00am After breakfast boat ride to trekking spot The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Belum. Look out for horn bills, flying fox, Rafflesia during trekking. At the aborigine village, watch fire making skills and blowpipe demonstration. Swim and wallow at the Rainforest Waterfalls as the cool mountain waters caress your skin. Packed lunch served. Return to resort, freshen up, depart for Kuala Lumpur arriving approx 8pm. There are medicinal as well as poisonous plants, not forgetting the elusive aphrodisiacs ^ Swim and wallow at the Virgin Rainforest Waterfalls. Untainted mountain waters caress your skin. ITINERARY
0700hrs Depart for Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara, enroute FREE BATU CAVES TOUR
# BATU CAVES is a limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb into the Cave will take you to the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam aka Lord Murugan. He is honoured during the Hndu Festival of THAIPUSAM in January or February every year. His 140 feet Statue is mesmerising.
(Decent attire is Mandatory for Ladies to enter the Temple proper).

1100hrs On arrival at Kuala Tahan, activities begin...

% Canopy Walkway - 530 meters in length is the longest in South East Asia and you will get a Bird's Eye View of the World's Oldest Rainfoest. View a screaming scenery of Nature at its unspoilt best..

% Jungle Trekking to the Teresek Hills.
Trekking takes you closer to the different species of Flora and the Nature Guide will belt facts and fancies about Flora and Fauna in Taman Negara. He will uncover the secrets of the Forest. Packed lunch in the Forest.

% You may be Lucky if you get to see Monkeys, Bids, Monitor Lizards...
BUT if you see a Tiger or an Elephant, we ain't sure who is lucky !


% Rapids Shooting is a thrill as the Boatman negotiates 7 sets of Rapids and you get a "chance" to get wet. Bring along changing clothes, insect repellants.

% Aborigine Village (Orang Asli) are of the Bateek tribe who have been living environment-friendly lives. The Rainforest is their Supermarket where they get their life's necessities. They have things secret and things taboo. You will get an insight of their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques.
