Discover the taste of two different cultures, Romanian and Hungarian, in this one-day trip to two of the most important distilleries in the area of Brasov.
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and will drive you to the town of Rasnov, to a local distillery. After learning the basics of palinca making, you will be invited to taste some of the products that are made there.
You next step will be in the city of Sfantu Gheorghe, where you will visit another distillery, this time more sophisticated. The products are highly regarded and the company is regarded as one of the best in Europe. Of course, you will taste some palinca here as well :)
And for a touch of history, go back in time with a surprising visit to the Prejmer citadel, one of the best preserved medieval fortresses in Romania.
In the end, you will be taken back to Brasov and dropped off at your accommodation.
