Amboseli National park is famous for its herds of elephants that graze against the backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Some of the animals you can look forward to seeing in Amboseli include; lions, cheetah, hyenas, giraffes, buffalo, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, zebras and a variety of water birds. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. Its a two day tour that will make you fall in love with Africa.
