Why take this tour?

We depart at 8AM and drive about an hour from Kigali city to climbing area where the splendid multi-hued sandstone crags, beautiful green hills and lofty summits provide an ideal environment for your experience. All our guides have been trained and are local professional climbing guides with years of experience. While driving, we will cover vital safety and climbing considerations. After arriving at trailhead, we will confirm all safety and personal climbing equipment (shoes, harness, helmets, belay devises, and more). Our hike to the climbing area will be 10 minutes. On the rock, you will spend about 3 hours climbing. At the completion, our guide will drive to Lake Kivu where you will spend the night. On the way, we will stop at Ndaba Waterfalls for a picnic lunch break. After your morning breakfast, you will join a guided bike tour and will explore the shores of the lake Kivu and the small rural villages. You will later embark on a boat tour to Napoleon island.
