2-Day Private Beijing Tour with Forbidden City and Great Wall

Maggie was very thoughtful and knowledgeable making our visits at the Forbidden City and Great Wall memorable.

We had the most wonderful experience on this tour, thanks to the excellent guide we had: Wendy. She arrived on time to pick us up at the hotel, the transportation was in a comfortable vehicle and we were offered bottles of cold water, which came in very handy with the hot day that awaited us. Wendy took us efficiently through the Forbidden City, sharing valuable historical information and also acting as a photographer (a very good one, by the way). In the afternoon we went to the Great Wall of China, again with the help of our experienced guide who shared anecdotes about the Wall and its impressive thousand-year history. Visiting these two historical places in Beijing has been a dream come true, and thanks to our guide it has undoubtedly been an experience that will remain in our memory forever. The second day, because you cannot go to China and not see pandas. Our excellent guide, Wendy, picked us up at the hotel promptly and our first stop was Panda House. Being early in the morning, we were able to see several active pandas while they were eating. An unforgettable experience. Then we headed to the Summer Palace... an impressive place where Wendy shared anecdotes about the place and important historical information with us. The final stop, after a delicious lunch, was the Temple of Heaven. A fabulous day. Thanks to the good disposition and professionalism of Wendy, who made this day something very special. We spent two wonderful days with our tour guide, Rita. The entire tour was perfectly organized. The driver and vehicle were excellent—safe, comfortable, and very professional. The places we visited were all fascinating and breathtaking. The pace of the tour was ideal, especially for European travelers, allowing us to enjoy every stop without feeling rushed. Our guide, Rita, was simply outstanding! Her knowledge was incredible, her English was flawless, and she had a great sense of humor. She also had an excellent understanding of European culture and the expectations and needs of European guests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. All in all, this two-day tour was the perfect way to discover the most important sights—thanks in no small part to Rita. I don't just recommend this tour—it's an absolute must-do! 🙂

My family of 4 (two adults, two teens) booked the 2-day Beijing private tour. Lily was very communicative before our tour and our guide Sally was incredible. She was knowlegeable, kind and did a great job keeping my boys engaged throughout a busy two days. The tour was organized well and we traveled to each location in a very nice and comfortable mini-van. Lunch each day was delicious. If you have only a short amount of time to spend in Beijing, this tour is the way to go.
