1Day keeper for a day Experience at UWEC & a Sunset Boat cruise on Lake Victoria

Start your day by a pickup at 6:30am from your accommodation by our company representative who will drive you to Uganda wild life Education Centre (UWEC) where you will have a mega experience as the keeper for a day. Achieve that long a waited work experience as an animal keeper! This activity will expose you to the practical and hands on familiarity working with animals. As a keeper for a day, you will be expected to carry out the following activities;

From food preparation, nursing animals, cleaning the holding facilities, Surveillance and recording and animal behaviors, Participant in hand rising newly confiscated animals, make animal and behavioral enrichment activities, take part in health checks (if on schedule/ available.)

You will have lunch here and later in the evening have a relaxing experience on Africa’s largest lake and the world’s 2nd largest. You will be driven to the dock area where the boat will set off at 5:30pm for a period of 1.5hours time.

Dive back to your lodge or at the airport for your flight as this marks the end of your 1day Entebbe magical experience.

An opportunity to have a mega experience as you keep, monitor and feed the animals for the day where they will be exposed to the practical and hands on familiarity working with animals, later on reward yourself with a relaxing moment on Africa’s largest lake and the world’s 2nd largest, Lake Victoria where they will have a panoramic view while on a sunset boat cruise as they sip on that fine wine.
