Enjoy informative commentary from your friendly, local tour guide as we make our way along the scenic coastline of the Great Ocean Road. We will enjoy a delicious tea and breathtaking ocean views before embarking on a guided bush walk through the dense rainforest. In the afternoon, you will get to see the iconic 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gore, and many more spectacular coastal lookouts!
The day will begin bright and early as we pick you up from your central Melbourne accommodation. We will make our way to the Great Ocean Road, where you will notice the landscape change from city suburbs to scenic coastal views. The first stop will be for a delicious morning tea, where you can stretch your legs and relax near the water before continuing on to Memorial Arch.
As we make our way along the Great Ocean Road, you will hear about the history of the area along with other interesting facts from your friendly driver guide. We will stop in the charming beachside town of Apollo Bay for lunch (own cost) and spend some time on the beach before hitting the road again.
After lunch, we'll enjoy a guided bush walk through the lush forests along the Great Ocean Road. Then it's on to the most famous stop of this tour: the 12 Apostles! Admire the stunning views of the iconic limestone pillars jutting from the deep blue ocean below. You will have plenty of time to snap some photos and take in the scenery before continuing to Loch Ard Gorge and other spectacular landmarks nearby.
This jam-packed adventure wraps up here, as we head back to Melbourne, travelling through many quaint country towns along the way.
