Our family of 5 did the American D-Day sites in Normandy half- day tour with Pascal. He was fantastic and provided such great information and additional recordings to build relevance and enhance the tour. Small group tour led by super personable and knowledgeable all-in-one driver-guide! I highly recommend a full day excursion (avoids any feeling of feeling rushed). And the longer time spent together adds an unstated dividend; allowing partipants to know each other despite having initially been strangers from all points of the world. Informative and entertaining fun to be had all around!

I booked this tour for a present for my husband's birthday.
This didn't disappoint.
Leatitia was our guide and utterly splendid.
Full of knowledge and information. She kept us entertained for the whole day.
The chateau"s that we visited had beautiful wines and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I had been looking forward to seeing Normandy and all of the places we visited on this trip were on my list of must see spots. Pascal was an extremely knowledgeable and capable guide as well as being engaging and entertaining. It made my trip to Normandy even more special.

Am besten hat mir gefallen dass der Guide sehr sympathisch war und dass die Verkostung sowohl vielfältig als auch quantitativ war. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag, könnte man auch ein bisschen Käse als Snacks bei der Verkostung anbieten.

All three wineries were wonderful, each offering a little different type experience. Our guide, Maude, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Gave us great information and answered all our questions. She showed us many of the chateaus in the area. We feel we really got a great feeling for Medoc. We highly recommend this tour.

Even though I'm a historian myself, I feel like I know so much more about local history and what it means to be Alsatian now, between France and Germany. Degustation was delightful, we visited the cave of a local wine maker and then had a great explanation and degustation of many wines. At lunch we had a break and each one could choose the restaurant they wanted, which I liked because I have some food restrictions. The pace of the tour was also great, and we didn't have to rush at any time. There was also an elderly woman and 2 kids in the group, so I definitely recommend it to everyone.

1/2 day Saint Emilion tour and wine tasting

A must do day trip!

Jerome, our tour guide was very friendly and personalized the whole trip knowing our interest. He presented us a good historical perspective of the old castle Hohenbaden and folklores, then we walked around Baden-Baden townships, parks, market areas and had delicious lunch at a famous Bavarian restaurant. He presented us a good historical perspective of the old castle Hohenbaden and folklores, then we walked around Baden-Baden townships, parks, market areas and had delicious lunch at a famous Bavarian restaurant. After lunch we explored some hidden treasures in Baden-Wuerttemberg, enjoyed the beauty of waterfall in Black Forest national park, tried delicious Black Forest cake by the Lake Mummlesee and of course enjoyed the legendary stories of the King and mermaids. He also drove us around picturesque vineyards and we learned a lot about the surrounding area from him.
Thanks to Ophorus tour and we highly recommend this trip.

Excellent guide and a fun tour!

D-Day experience!
Matt, was absolutely terrific! He was so knowledgeable about the history of D-Day and the perils that not only the U.S., Canadians and British went through but also the view of the Germans.

Quaint villages!
Great tour to 3 beautiful, quaint model towns & a castle! Loved every minute! Our guide drove us in a minivan and told us lots of history on the way and allowed us time for lunch & shopping. Great day!

Gorgeous day
This was really excellent. A small group, and our guide was lovely. We started by going to two chateaux wineries and had tastings and tours of their facilities. Then went to St Emillion for lunch and to explore/free time, then a last winery. It felt very well paced and not like we were rushing anywhere. Really enjoyed it!

Brilliant tour on an overcast day
When staying in Normandy, a tour of Mont Saint Michel is a must. Even though the weather on the day of our visit was overcast and cool, our very knowledgeable guide, Charles, made the visit very pleasant and informative. Very highly recommended.

Breathtaking views and picturesque places
An absolutely terrific day out - I’m so pleased we booked this. Magical little villages, and the most magnificent castle at the end of the trip. Thierry was a fantastic guide, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. We visited the castle at sunset and on a day when it sat above the clouds, resulting in breathtaking views from the top.
