We were dropped off at what the taxi driver said was our tour meeting spot. Not the case! When I called Ophorus Tours, via the phone number listed in their recent email, a representative literally guided us by phone to the actual meeting spot! This is what I call EXCELLENT customer service.

We were dropped off at what the taxi driver said was our tour meeting spot. Not the case! When I called Ophorus Tours, via the phone number listed in their recent email, a representative literally guided us by phone to the actual meeting spot! This is what I call EXCELLENT customer service.
Once we arrived, the polite guide, Valentin, assisted us with putting our belongings in his van. He reassured us that our delay was no big deal and that we arrived 3 minutes before departure. So off we go for our first visit to Burgundy!
I've been on many tours which were everything I expected and more. Valentin's brain is filled with every bit of interesting information pertaining to this beautiful region and other areas of the world! He taught us SO much about the history of the area, its culture, the vineyard growing process, how certain tastes are achieved and many other facets of the wine industry. Ophorus Tours is blessed to have such a brilliant young man representing the company and we were blessed to have him guiding us through the region. Yes, our expectations were exceeded and we are happy to have gained great information about this interesting business and the beautiful people and places that make it happen!

We had a great experience on our tour to St. Emilion. Our guide Dulce was knowledgeable and helpful. We went to three interesting and very different wineries. The highlight was St. Emilion, which is a gem. We had a rainstorm and bad traffic but it couldn’t mar the overall impression. Highly recommended.

Informative guide and lovely wines to taste in a gorgeous chateu. Would recommend. We were also able to explore Saint Emilion on the way

Wonderful Wine Tasting Tour
We visited three Chateau with 11 different wine tasting and Saint Emilion village. We have 2 hour free time in the village and for lunch. The tour guide is amazing , provided lots of information relating tour and other information of Bordeaux. This tour is really worth!

Wonderful Tour and Guide!
My husband and I had a thoroughly enjoyable tour with Helene (sp?). You couldn't have found a more relaxed guide to spend the day with and at the same time, Helene was very informative about the history of the area and about wine and kept us on a well-paced schedule to see everything at a comfortable pace. We visited two wineries in the morning, then had plenty of time to have a leisurely lunch on our own in one of St. Emilion

You couldn't have found a more relaxed guide to spend the day with and at the same time, Helene was very informative about the history of the area and about wine and kept us on a well-paced schedule to see everything at a comfortable pace. We visited two wineries in the morning, then had plenty of time to have a leisurely lunch on our own in one of St. Emilion's restaurants and to tour the charming little town and historic church. Finally, we went to our third winery and then returned to downtown Bordeaux. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Perfecte dagtour in februari 2025
Afgelopen februari deze tour gedaan samen met mijn vriend. Omdat het niet heel erg toeristisch deze tijd van het jaar hadden we het geluk dat we de tour met zn 3en deden (wij en onze gids). Wij hebben ons uitstekend vermaakt en enorm genoten van alle informatie en verhalen die onze gids, Laurent, vertelde! We hadden geluk met het weer, op een paar regenbuien na, maar dat mocht de pret zeker niet drukken!
