This 4 days Nyiragongo Volcano and Mountain Gorillas exposes you to Congo’s startovolcano that features the world's largest lava lake and to the mountain gorilla in the Virunga national park in Congo. The tour starts and ends in Kigali in Rwanda. Visitor encounters with these Great apes entirely involves exploring their general behavior and lifestyles (feeding, mating, nesting, body gestures and others) while they are in their natural habitat. Nyiragongo’s summit rim is largely devoid of vegetation and is sometimes dusted with snow. From the rim, visitors can peer down into a churning lava lake and see and hear hot gases exploding up though a mosaic of molten lava.
