After pickup from the cruise port or your hotel, meet your guide and journey to Frutillar in a van. Upon arrival, take a stroll by Lake Llanquihue, Chile's largest lake. Enjoy the view of Osorno Volcano, with its perfect cone, and the quaint German-style houses that stand nearby with their fragrant gardens. Then, head for Teatro del Lago ("theater of the lake"), the setting for Chile's biggest annual classical music festival. Next, journey to Puerto Varas, noted for its German-influenced culture, seafood, and beautiful scenery. Enjoy views of the lake and the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Calbuco and Mt. Tronador, and browse the shops for local crafts. Continue to Ensenada and then embark on a gentle walk to the Petrohué Waterfalls.
