FAQ Where are you located?

You can find us on Navy Pier’s Dock Street, located at: 600 E. Grand Avenue, Chicago IL, 60611. Look for Seadog Speedboats directly below the Ferris Wheel and across from the Grand Staircase.

Is there parking at Navy Pier?

Absolutely, Door 4 is the closest entrance to Seadog’s ticket booth.

Do you validate parking?

Unfortunately, we do not.

How long is each tour?

We offer four different cruises at varying lengths: 30-Minute Lakefront Speedboat Tour, 30-Minute Extreme Thrill Ride, 75-Minute River and Lake Architectural Tour, and a 60-Minute Lakefront Fireworks Cruise

Is Seadog okay for all ages to ride?

Seadog offers something for everyone! We do not, however, recommend cruising for those with cardiac conditions or orthopedic conditions associated with the neck or back. It’s also not recommended for women in late terms of pregnancy. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to cruise aboard any Seadog product. Don’t forget, you must be at least 48 inches to board Seadog’s Extreme Thrill Ride!

How do I get my tickets?

If you reserve your tickets in advance, you have the option to print your Seadog tickets at home or display them on your smartphone at boarding. You may also pick up or purchase tickets at the Seadog ticket booth on the day of your cruise.

Boarding Procedures. What should I expect?

In accordance with US Coast Guard Regulation, all passengers and their belongings being brought on to our vessels are subject to search and screening. In order to expedite the boarding process we ask that you please do not bring any unnecessary bags on board.

Can I smoke on board?

Sorry, city ordinances prohibit smoking aboard all Seadog vessels.

Are food and drink allowed on board?

We do not sell food or beverages on board, but you’re welcome to bring your own refreshments as long as there is no glass.

Will I get wet?

This is unlikely on Seadog’s 30-Minute Lakefront Speedboat Tour, 75-Minute River and Lake Architectural Tour, and a 60-Minute Lakefront Fireworks Cruise. The 30-Minute Extreme Thrill Ride boasts the highest chance of getting wet so plan accordingly! Seadog is an open-air speedboat so there’s always a possibility depending on lake and wind conditions.

Is the boat handicap accessible?

Our vessels are accessible for most standard manual wheelchairs.

Are there restrooms on every cruise?

Yes. Restrooms are located on all Seadog products.

When can we board?

Boarding begins fifteen minutes prior to scheduled departure. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to ensure enough time to get tickets.

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

If Seadog Cruises cancels your cruise due to inclement weather, you may reschedule your cruise date or receive a refund.

If we know in advance that your cruise will be cancelled due to weather, you will receive a call from our contact center to reschedule. If you do not receive a call and/or are concerned about your cruise being cancelled because of weather, please call our reservation center at 888-636-7737 for more information on your specific cruise.
