After a half hour equipment orientation, we begin our approximately 1 1/2 hour paddle northward, around Scotland Island and into Lovett Bay, exploring Salvation Creek at high tide. Stopping at a little beach, we take a half hour bush walk to Lovett Bay waterfall and then enjoy a mid morning snack. Our return paddle is a leisurely hour paddle home.

Only an hour away from Sydney, explore bushland and beaches in the national park at Pittwater. Departing from our marina location on kayak, discover the sandy inlets, cliffs and gum trees of the western foreshore of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park – accessible only by water! Kayak around Scotland Island and drift down Salvation Creek past the mangroves, before paddling into secluded Lovett Bay for morning tea. Take in the tranquil surroundings while feasting on a picnic-style spread of fresh fruit and pastries. Choose to take a dip in the inviting waters or pop on your walking shoes for a bush walk among the gum trees. The destination? A hidden rainforest waterfall above Lovett Bay. Your experienced local guide will share in-depth knowledge on the region and its native flora and fauna. After a blissful time on the water, you’ll be ready to return back to shore with unforgettable memories!

Paddlecraft brings your kayaks to the water's edge at our beachside launch and provide all the hire kayaking equipment needed, as well as paddling advice and a map of Pittwater. Our very large and brand new hire fleet has a wide range of kayaks, including single and double kayaks, recreational sit on tops, touring sit in kayaks and ocean skis, that will suit beginners to the most experienced paddlers. We have boats to suit everyone!
Only located 40 minutes from Sydney with plenty of parking at our Bayview Marina location, Paddlecraft offers the only fully licensed and fully insured kayaking center with exclusive access to the scenic waterways of Pittwater. Marina amenities include change facilities and showers, an outdoor cafe and picnic area.
