Description
Your scenic small group Best of Montreal Tour begins with your tour guide picking you up directly from your hotel in downtown Montreal, where you will then experience a narrated drive through the beautiful neighborhood of Westmount. While on your way to your first destination you will pass St. Joseph's Oratory, Canada's largest church with one of the largest church domes in the world, and the highest viewpoint of Montreal.

Your first destination is Mount Royal, a scenic mountain where the City of Montreal got its name from. Here you will have the opportunity to take in the beautiful views of the city skyline and nature, snapping some pictures while taking the beauty.

Following a view of the beautiful downtown Montreal. you will head through the city towards the world-famous Olympic Park, the main venue of the 1976 Olympics, and former home for the baseball team, The Expos. Here you will explore the area, making a trip to the Biodome, a Montreal must-see attraction where you will venture through an immersive visit through five ecosystems found in the Americas.

Once you have completed your exploration of the ecosystems you will head to the Notre-Dame Basilica, the mother church of Montreal. This magnificent Gothic Revival Church is the first of its kind in Canada featuring incredible architectural features and impressive stained glass window displays, invoking a sense of wonder captivating millions of visitors every year. This 17th Century architectural masterpiece is a sight not left to be unseen.

Your final stop on the guided tour from Thursday - Sunday (seasonal) will be at the scenic Old Port of Montreal where you will board the St. Lawrence River Cruise. For 90 minutes you will enjoy a relaxing ride on the river, in a city known as the center of culture, music, food, and fashion, taking in incredible views of the city while learning about the area's fascinating history.

If you are joining us Monday - Wednesday, you will instead experience the beautiful Grand Roue, the largest observation wheel in Canada. Here you will enjoy the panoramic views of Montreal including the city's beautiful architecture and its beautiful waterfront, with Mount Royal as the backdrop, 60 meters off the ground.
