This is a unique opportunity to visit with a member of the royal family in Jaipur and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Upon arriving at Samode Haveli, the royal residence, part of which has been converted into a heritage hotel, you will be greeted by either Yadavendra, the prince or a member of his family. Make your way to a private courtyard where you will get to you know your host over drinks and snacks. Nothing pleases this family more than discovering and testing new recipes especially from an old hand-written manuscript they found amongst forgotten family keepsakes, which contained 400 lost recipes. You will enjoy a cooking experience with Yadu (as Yadavendra is fondly known) or perhaps his cousin and a chef in their courtyard with a fire grill. Learn to cook two Rajasthani dishes from scratch which takes about 1.5 hours. After cooking, enjoy the dishes you helped prepare in addition to other traditional Indian dishes, served with a variety of Indian breads. Learn about the history of Rajasthani cuisine and how to cook traditional dishes during this unique culinary experience with a member of the royal family. Enjoy your authentic Rajasthani meal over a glass of wine.

After cooking, enjoy a menu of traditional Indian dishes such as kebabs, a variety of Indian breads, ker sangri (a traditional Rajasthani desert bean dish), lahsuni palak (spinach cooked in garlic), junglee maas (a meat dish traditionally made from the game that kings hunted, spiced with chili and coriander) and mutton dahi bhalla (meat-filled lentil dumplings in a yogurt sauce). Your meal concludes with an Indian dessert.
