Skip the Line: 2nd Level Eiffel Tower Ticket and Small-Group Tour

Our guide will take you straight to the second level while discussing the history, architecture, and fascinating stories about the Tower. You will learn about monuments along the Paris skyline, historical events including its place in two World Wars, and its role as a playground for countless daredevils. You will have time to walk around the first and second level, taking in the breathtaking Paris cityscape from this ideal vantage point! Please note, that this tour does not include access and due to a recent change at the Eiffel Tower, tickets to the summit are no longer available at the conclusion of the tour. Select the departure time to suit your schedule then meet your guide in the streets beneath the soaring spire of Paris’ iconic Eiffel Tower. Receive your prebooked skip-the-line ticket to the tower’s elevator and beat the queues which, during peak times, can take over two hours.

Zip up to the second floor by elevator, and listen as your guide details how Gustave Eiffel designed the tower for the World’s Fair of 1889. Once you arrive on the second floor, enjoy breathtaking views over the French capital and admire top city attractions such as the Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

After spending about two hours in this part of the tower, you can either purchase a ticket to the summit (own expense) or head down to ground level to conclude your tour.

Please note: This tour provides skip-the-line priority entry, but is subject to all procedures and security requirements of the Eiffel Tower. Tickets are available up to 90 days in advance of your chosen travel date.
