Choose morning or afternoon pickup at your Bariloche hotel for the short drive to Lake Moreno or Lake Gutiérrez for your 5-hour kayak adventure. Your destination will depend on your guide's discretion and the current weather patterns. Upon arrival on the lakeshore, you'll get a safety talk from your adventure guide while he or she distributes all the necessary kayak gear. You'll receive a lifejacket, neoprene shorts, a waterproof jacket and a dry bag to store your valuables. Launch your kayak into the brisk water and paddle out with your partner in search of adventure. Follow your guide around the lake as he or she shares their expertise on the native coihue trees and the mountain scenery, including Mt Lopez, Catedral, and Mt Capilla. On Lake Gutiérrez, you'll get a chance to stop for photos at the base of Mt D'Agostini, and on Lake Moreno you'll pass by the famous Llao Llao resort. Pull up on a nearby beach to enjoy some snacks and a rest. On Lake Gutiérrez, you'll probably be at Muñoz Beach or Van Ritter Beach. On Lake Moreno, Playa de los Juncos is a favorite stop. At either location, spend time lounging, taking in the scenery or swimming. Your group will paddle back to your launching point and return to Bariloche. Please note: Total paddling time is approximately 90 minutes, depending on the weather, the ability of your group and the guide's discretion.
