Dress Code: Dressy-casual attire is appropriate (i.e. sundresses, nice pants or shorts, collared shirts ). Dressy jeans are acceptable. Casual jeans, t-shirts, athletic shoes or flip flops are discouraged. Don’t forget, we’ll be cruising on the water! For your safety, we suggest wearing flat, closed-toed shoes (recommended, but not required or enforced).

Directions: From Points North Take Route 93 (or Route 1 to Route 93) Southbound. Take Exit 23 (Purchase Street/South Station) exit. Stay in left lane and bear left turning left immediately onto Atlantic Avenue. Stay straight on Atlantic Avenue following the signs for Rowes Wharf and the Boston Harbor Hotel. Rowes Wharf is located on your right. From Points South and West Drivers coming into Boston on the new I-93 Northbound Expressway should take Exit 20 (I-90/South Station) to South Station and then proceed northerly up Atlantic Avenue. Rowes Wharf will be on your right Drivers coming into Boston on the Masspike (I-90) Eastbound should take Exit 24A to South Station and then proceed northerly up Atlantic Avenue. Rowes Wharf will be on your right.
Notes: Please Note The Rowes Wharf Hotel Parking Garage will be single-lane during construction. Please allow extra time for parking due to construction leading to our Ticket booth and boarding area. There are signs that that will guide you to the ferry terminal which is where we are located. Rowes Wharf Parking | 30 Rowes Wharf | Boston, MA 02110 Traffic around Rowes Wharf can be unpredictable at times. So please allow ample time for parking before your Odyssey cruise boarding time. Discounted parking is available at Rowes Wharf Garage located directly under the Boston Harbor Hotel at 30 Rowes Wharf on Atlantic Avenue. The entrance into the garage is easily missed. Make an immediate right after the archway into an entryway at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Validation for discounted parking can be obtained at the Odyssey ticket booth.

What are the operating hours for the bars on board?

Spirit's bars are open throughout the cruise, offering guests the option to purchase alcohol and other beverages a la carte. All bars aboard our vessels close 30 minutes prior to docking.

Boarding. What is "Boarding Time" and "Cruising Time"?

"Boarding Time" is the earliest our guests may board the ship. Typically we begin boarding one hour prior to the "Cruise Time." Tickets may be picked up at our dockside kiosk up to one hour prior to the cruise.

Boarding Procedures. What should I expect?

You will be asked to show your ticket. In accordance with US Coast Guard Regulation, all passengers and their belongings being brought on to our vessels are subject to search and screening. In order to expedite the boarding process we ask that you please do not bring any unnecessary bags on board and please make sure that all gifts are in gift bags or unwrapped for easy screening.

Children. Are there any age requirements?

Children of all ages are welcome on our lunch and dinner cruises. Children under 3 are complimentary and a discount is offered for children between the ages of 3 and 12 on select Lunch Cruises. Call 888-345-6660 for details.

Coast Guard Regulations. Is the vessel Coast Guard certified?

Yes. The Spirit of Boston is Coast Guard certified and maintained regularly to adhere to strict safety regulations.

Dietary Restrictions. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Please check our menu for our vegetarian options. While we offer gluten and allergy free products and gluten sensitive menu items, we openly handle several allergens throughout our galleys. While we take precautions to keep ingredients separate, we cannot guarantee a gluten free environment. We do not have separate prep surfaces, cook tops or equipment. Our chef prepare and cook in common areas with shared equipment, therefore the items may come in contact with other food products. If you have any other special dietary concerns, please contact your event planner or guest services at 888-345-6660.

Refund Policy. Do you offer refunds?

There are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. We cruise year-round, rain or shine. In the rare event the Coast Guard prohibits cruising because of weather, we will contact you to make other arrangements.

Rescheduling Policy. What is your rescheduling policy?

All cruise tickets are non-refundable.

Seasickness. Will I get seasick?

It is highly unlikely. The Spirit of Boston sails in the calm waters of the inner harbor and outer islands. We do not go out into open ocean water.

Smoking. What is your smoking policy?

All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.

Tickets. Where can I pick up the cruise tickets?

Tickets can be conveniently picked up at the dock up to one hour prior to boarding, on the day of the cruise. Photo ID will be required.
