Summary

After pickup from your Buenos Aires hotel, set out on the around journey to the polo club, set amid the beautiful countryside of the Argentine pampas. On arrival, learn a bit about the history of polo as you sip wine and tuck into tasty empanadas, then see the fast-paced game in action as you watch a live polo match. Your guide is on-hand to explain the rules and answer any questions. Once the match is over, tuck into a traditional ‘asado’ BBQ lunch, accompanied by Argentine Malbec wine and enjoy some free time to relax or swim in the country club’s pool. In the afternoon, head down to the polo field for your polo lesson. Depending on your riding level and previous experience, you will be matched with a suitable horse and even if you’ve never ridden before, and soon master the basics of steering your horse and swinging the taco (polo mallet). Finally, put your skills to the test in a fun mini polo match. Your tour ends with drop-off back at your Buenos Aires hotel.
