The Empire State Building day and night ticket allows you to experience the city from our 360-degree, open-air observatory under the sun and the sparkling city lights the same night. Guests will also have access to the brand-new Observatory Experience complete with 10,000 square feet of interactive exhibits that invite guests on a journey beginning with the building’s construction to its current place in pop culture.

Make your own way to the Empire State Building, located on Fifth Avenue between 33rd and 34th streets, between 8am and 8:59pm—the validity period of your morning ticket. Arriving early means you’ll have far less chance of encountering long lines.

Exit the monument at your convenience and then return between the hours of 9pm and 2am (last elevator leaves at 1:15am) to see the City That Never Sleeps illuminated by night.

On arrival, head to the ticket window on the second floor to exchange your paper voucher for a pass. Following a security screening, you’ll board a high-speed elevator destined for the 86th floor of the landmark.

From the open-air observation deck, you’ll drink in 360-panoramas of the Big Apple, including the iconic Manhattan Skyline, Central Park, Times Square, and the Statue of Liberty.  

Exit the monument at your convenience and then return between the hours of 9pm and 2am (last elevator leaves at 1:15am) to see the City That Never Sleeps illuminated by night. 

Under the cloak of darkness, New York bursts into a riot of neon-lit color and appears to be a completely different city. Once you’ve had your fill of panoramic views, make your own way to your intended destination.
