Bhutan Highlights Tour, in which you get to traverse for eight days through well-known places in Bhutan, such as the Gangtey Valley and the town of Trongsa. The tour starts in the colorful city of Paro and moves to the tiny capital of Bhutan, Thimphu. From here, it proceeds to the fertile valley of Punakha and then onto the lovely glacial valley of Phobijikha in Gangtey. The tour moves further still to the eastern side of Bhutan to Trongsa, from where you retrace your footsteps back to Paro while visiting the Haa Valley on the way. The best part of the tour is in the finale, when you get to visit the spectacular Taktsang Monastery, translates to meaning the Tiger's Nest, as is believed that the Guru Padmasambhava, is said to have flown here on the back of a tigress to meditate for three months somewhere in the 8th century AD.
