The tourist will find it difficult to choose between taking views either near the road or on the large vista covering all the hills that endlessly stretch out. In the morning we drive to Rutovu, visit the Source of the River Nile at Rutovu, a not-so-small forest with a river stream that several researchers, including the BBC, have corroborated to be the Source of the River Nile, the longest river in Africa and second-longest in the world. The trip continues to Rutana to admire the amazing Karera waterfalls and ends in Bujumbura after a short stop in Gitega for lunch.
