Summary

When booking, choose from the 2-gorge cruise, the 3-gorge cruise, or the dawn cruise. Each has a different departure time and these three options mean you can select one that fits your schedule. Make your way to the Nitmiluk boat jetty, where you will meet your river guide. Step aboard the boat and learn about the flora, fauna, and geology of the area while snapping photos and taking in the epic views. Between each connected gorge, you will disembark and walk to the next (about 1,640 feet or 500 meters), where you can reboard the boat. If you choose not to complete the walk, there is a shaded area for resting. The 2-gorge cruise focuses on the area's heritage and the history of the aboriginal people who originally occupied the area. The 3-gorge cruise continues on further, where you can cool down with a swim and some light refreshments. Book the early morning dawn cruise to see the day's most spectacular colors.
