Bike the Bridge With Shuttle to Muir Woods

Your experience starts when you pick up your bike in the morning in North Beach, a San Francisco neighborhood near Fisherman’s Wharf. Receive some safety instructions and tips about the bike, plus get your helmet and bike lock.
Then set off through the northern part of the city toward the Golden Gate Bridge, stopping for photo ops whenever you wish — this is an independent tour, so you can pedal at your own pace. Take in dramatic views of the city, the Pacific Ocean, and Alcatraz Island as you cross the bridge, and then cruise downhill into the village of Sausalito, which sits on the waterfront of San Francisco Bay.
Drop off your bike and perhaps get some lunch, if you wish, at one of the eateries on the water (own expense) before boarding the shuttle to Muir Woods, which departs in the early afternoon. When you arrive at Muir Woods National Monument, pay your own entrance fee and then enjoy an hour to explore the grove of giant redwood trees, some of the oldest and tallest trees on the planet.
When your time is up, you’ll be returned to San Francisco via shuttle to end your tour.
