At the beginning of each lesson our coaches will give you all the information you need to have you feeling assured before even getting into the water. We teach you about the waves, rips, potential hazards and surfing etiquette. Then techniques on how to carry your board, attach your leg rope, paddle for a wave and stand up. Once in the water, your coach will assist you with wave selection and help you balance as you get a feel for paddling and standing up on the waves. Your coach will be with you every step of the way to make sure you feel safe and get the best advice for a top quality lesson.

The surf lesson comprises everything you need to know about getting in the surf whilst staying SAFE! Your coaches will be with you every step of the way, on the beach for demonstrations, in the water for tips and assistance right there when you ‘claim’ your first wave.
