Make your first stop at Plaza de Mayo to see the Presidential palace—the Casa Rosada—and the famous balcony from which Eva Peron (Evita) once addressed the people. Continue through the historic center, stopping at landmarks such as the Colon Theatre (Teatro Colón), Plaza de la Republica, and Obelisk (El Obelisco). Pass by waterfront Puerto Madero, and stop to walk the cobbled lanes of San Telmo, known for its tango clubs. Continue to La Boca, located along the waterfront and famous for the brightly painted houses. Back on the bus, head to Palermo, where attractions include Palermo Woods, Buenos Aires Zoo, and Galileo Galilei planetarium. Finally, visit Recoleta, where the star attraction is Recoleta Cemetery, a magnificent walled cemetery, home to Evita’s grave. Your tour ends in central Buenos Aires.
