Your First Full Qualification! The Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and have discovered the underwater world through this course. The PADI Open Water certificate allows you to dive independently to a max of 18 metres with a dive buddy. This certificate doesn’t need a renewal and it is recognised all over the world! Requirements: You must be 10 years old or older Adequate swimming skills good physical health During your PADI Open Water course you will complete: Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving 5 Pool Sessions to learn basic scuba skills 4 Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore! Your last dive will take place from our boat on one of the three wrecks we have in Paphos.

Cydive was founded in 1978 and is currently under the management of Mr Photos Socratous, who has now owned the dive centre for 21 years. Our scuba diving centre offers a wide variety of dives, lessons and packages including scuba diving for children using only fully qualified PADI instructors. Our customers can relax and enjoy their experience above and below the surface with the latest equipment. We visit over fifty dive sites throughout the year and at any one time we have twenty four unique sites in our fortnightly timetable. Our timetable features all year round, a dive at the Zenobia wreck - one of the top ten wreck dives worldwide. Cydive has grown in size over the last 41 years, it is proud to maintain its reputation as professional, friendly and helpful. We cater for experienced and novice divers, the complete beginner, singles or groups and we welcome non-divers in our centre.
