Start Location Notes: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a green Walks sign. This tour meets in Piazza San Giovanni, by the column of San Zanobi next to the Baptistery of St. John. Piazza San Giovanni is a centrally located square in front of Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral and Baptistery of St. John.

- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.

- Please note: from Dec 2, 2024, the two elevators located near the main staircase will be unavailable to the public due to maintenance work. The main staircase consists of 4 flights, totaling 126 steps. Guests who require the elevator to access the main floor of the Gallery should proceed to the hall in front of the main staircase once inside the museum. There, museum staff will assist them in reaching the elevators located in the west wing.
- All tour participants, including children must bring valid ID on the day of the visit.
- All guests must pass through security. No weapons or large items are allowed inside.
- Only small handbags are allowed inside the Accademia Museum. There is no bag check or storage available.
- We are unable to accommodate guests with strollers on this tour.
- It is absolutely forbidden to bring any kind of liquid in the Uffizi Gallery (except baby bottles and medicinal product).
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

Cancellation Notes: Cancellations received greater than 24 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after tour departure.

Can I take photographs of Michelangelo’s ‘David’?
Currently you can – guards at the Accademia have relaxed rules around photography inside the gallery so you are allowed to take photos of David, although we cannot guarantee how long this will last.
