Reconvening with your guide with a full belly, make your way to Alcatraz Landing, pausing along the route to see the 8 turns (in only one city block, mind you!) of Lombard Street, deemed "The Most Crooked Street in the World." As your departure on the ferry draws closer and you reach Alcatraz Landing, your guide will set you up for a great experience, giving you all the insider tips before bidding you farewell. (Tour guides aren't allowed on Alcatraz Island, but yours will tell you what to expect, giving you time to explore at your own pace).

Before you book

All guests must supply the name and birthdate of everyone visiting the island at least 10 days prior to your tour. Should you fail to provide these, your reservation will be canceled.

All guests (over 18) must bring ID on the day of their tour. Without ID, Alcatraz Cruises will not release your ticket for you to travel to Alcatraz.

Tour guides are not allowed on Alcatraz Island therefore, the Alcatraz Island portion of your tour is audio-guided.

While wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on Alcatraz Island unfortunately the walking tour portion of this tour cannot be navigated with these items.

Cancellations received greater than 72 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable.
Cancellations received within 72 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable.
Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes.
Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after tour departure.
