Why take this tour?

Taste some of the best tapas in Seville with a small group of travelers and a local culinary expert. On your tour, you will learn about the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood through its famous food and drink. This tour offers more than just a taste of Seville—your culinary expert will also teach you how to navigate a tapas bar like a local and order all the best dishes for yourself.

The Santa Cruz neighborhood is filled with some of the best tapas bars in all of Spain, but sometimes it can be hard to navigate the streets and choose the best restaurants without the help of a culinary expert. After a brief introduction, you’ll head to your first tapas destination of the evening: the oldest bar in the historic Jewish Quarter, going strong since 1870. Taste authentic Spanish-style potato salad and mouthwatering Iberian ham, all washed down by a sweet red vermouth.

Then you'll move on to the second tasting stop: Seville’s tiniest bar. This is as authentic as Spanish tapas get! Opened in 1904, this family-run establishment is renowned for introducing orange wine to Seville, which has since become a beloved local classic. Pair your drink with a tender pork tapa and manchego cheese for a delicious combination.

Time for more tapas! Your next tasting is in a rustic old wine shop which is today the second-oldest bar in Seville, complete with traditional clay wine vats lining the walls. Taste a delicious selection of small bites: artisan bread with sobresada (a cured sausage spread) and salt cod and salmorejo (a chilled tomato and garlic puree).

Your final stop is a family-run bar in the heart of Seville’s historic center, where you’ll try shared plates of delicious regional specialties and a traditional dessert. Wash these down with drinks of your choice as you chat with your group about the amazing food, drink, and culture you enjoyed throughout your time together.

Please note: Stops and tastings may vary depending on season, group size, and day. Regardless of where your tour goes, you always have a delicious experience.
