In the morning we met at the hotel. From there we leave for the small town of San Lorenzo, at the foot of the mountain. There we will leave our vehicle and start our trek through the rein forest. At noon we will pause in a place of incredible panoramic view, where in addition, we will be able to enjoy a picnic, perhaps with view to some condors. Then we will follow our path, winding along small paths in the mountain. We will have views of the city of Salta, the valley and the high mountains of the Andes range. Once arrived at the base of the mountain, we will find our vehicle and we will undertake the return to the hotel in the city, ending the trekking tour.
This tour consists on a pleasant hike through the rainforest. Along the way we will be able to appreciate the different strata of the "Selva the Yungas" and also, if we are lucky, we will be able to see many different types of birds. On our way we will walk by the mountain bridge that divides the Salta Valley from the Astilleros Gorge getting amazing panoramic views of the area. It is an ideal option for those who have a free day in Salta or want to make a brief getaway to nature!!
