Not a Scuba Diver - Try PADI Discover Scuba Diving in the warm waters of Belize

Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is a exciting PADI program that lets you try out scuba diving safely under the close supervision of a scuba diving professional. At our dive center, we fit you out with scuba diving gear and show you how it works and we review basic dive theory with you so that you understand the why of what you are doing. At the cayes, we start from the beach in shallow water where you master key skills like how to put the regulator back in your mouth if it become dislodged for any reason and how to clear the water out of your mask if it leaks while you are underwater. After you master the key skills, we continue from the beach to deeper water to experience a whole new world on your first open water scuba dive! After lunch on the caye, we do a second dive from the dive boat where we explore the reef and experience close encounters with marine life. We work with a low ratio of maximum 2 students per instructor to ensure safety and the quality of the experience. This tour requires you to complete a medical statement which we will send to you when you book the tour. If you need to answer yes to any question, then you must have the form signed by a medical doctor.
