On this classic stroll through San Francisco's bustling waterfront, you'll see traditional fishing boats (much like the ones that were originally used by Italian immigrants to explore the bay) and even peek into the restaurants where one of San Francisco's most iconic seafood dishes was invented. Speaking of food, you won't be able to miss the sweet smell of bread baking at Boudin Bakery as you make your way down the pier, learning about the history behind the stores and stalls that prop up the iconic promenade.

Together with your small group and engaging local guide, you'll meet some of the true stars of San Francisco; the sea lions and greet the colony from a vantage point not known to many visitors.

Throughout your time with your guide you'll learn stories of the immigrants who brought their own cultures to the area, enriching the fabric of San Francisco in the process, before finally ending your tour in true Fisherman's Wharf fashion - with a chocolate tasting in the original Ghirardelli Square.
