“Postcard from Earth” is an immersive cinematic experience directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, the film offers audiences a unique journey through Earth’s diverse landscapes and ecosystems, blending elements of science fiction and nature documentary, the 50 minute film transports audiences across 15 global locations and into space, showcasing Earth’s beauty and fragility. The narrative follows two astronauts who, after landing on a distant planet, are reminded of Earth’s history and the environmental challenges that led humanity to seek new worlds. The film utilizes Sphere’s full technological capabilities, including the world’s largest high-definition screen and haptic chairs, to create a multi-sensory storytelling journey.

V-U2 An Immersive Concert Film is a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience shown exclusively at Sphere. V-U2 is the first film ever to be shot entirely with Big Sky, the groundbreaking ultra-high-resolution camera system developed by Sphere Entertainment. To create this larger-than-life concert film, a number of Big Sky cameras captured the band at extraordinary scale, sharpness, and clarity. V-U2 employs Sphere’s immersive technologies including the 160,000 sq. ft. display plane, which at 16k x 16k resolution is the world's highest-resolution LED screen; Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, which provides crystal-clear sound to every seat in Sphere; and haptic seats, which use vibrations so guests can ‘feel’ the experience. All of these technologies will be leveraged in V-U2 in new and different ways to reinforce the feeling of being there.

The Sphere Experience is the most popular ticket, a two-part program that begins when you enter the venue. The approximately 1 hour 45 minute experience begins in the Atrium, where, through one-of-a-kind immersive technology experiences created specifically for Sphere, guests will gain a better understanding of how technology amplifies our human potential. The Sphere Experience then continues in the main venue bowl for a multi-sensory cinematic experience – Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard from Earth.
