The Ayeyawaddy Dolphin Protected Area is home to one of the last river populations of endangered Irrawaddy dolphins and is located just north of Mandalay. Local fishermen communicate and fish with dolphins--a phenomenon found in only 3 places in the world! The Living Irrawaddy Dolphin Project takes guests by boat to see dolphins & cooperative fishing to support communities & dolphin conservation.
