This National Register of Historic Places location features the best-preserved American Indian mound in Tampa Bay, and is the recognized landing site of the 1528 Narvaez Expedition. On this 75-minutes guided tour visitors learn about this ill-fated expedition, as well as about the lives of the Tocobaga Indians, and the hidden history of the Jungle neighborhood. The site itself is on the shore of beautiful Boca Ciega Bay and features a subtropical seaside garden that is home to over 50 peacocks and a small archaeological museum. It's a truly unique experience. We invite you to attend one of our fun and educational guided tours. Tours are held Wednesday through Sunday at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. The cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children (2-12). Parking Entrance: 1700 Park St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33710
